Cabaret
In a Berlin nightclub, as the 1920s draw to a close, a garish Master of Ceremonies welcomes the audience and assures them they will forget all their troubles at the Cabaret. With the bawdy songs as wry commentary, "Cabaret" explores the dark, heady, and tumultuous life in Berlin, as Germany slowly yields to the emerging Third Reich. Cliff, a young American writer newly arrived in Berlin, is immediately taken by English singer Sally Bowles. Meanwhile, his landlady Fraulein Schneider tentatively begins a romance with Her Schultz, a mild-mannered fruit seller who happens to be Jewish. This unforgettable musical, and winner of a dozen Tony Awards in its 50-year history (including Best Musical, Best Revival of a Musical, and Best Original Score) will both humor and challenge audiences alike by asking, "What would you do?" - Immersive seating will be available on a first-come, first-served basis. -For Mature Audiences Only: Adult Content, Partial Nudity, Sexually-Explicit Material, Drug and Alcohol Use, Mature Themes including Abortion, Not Appropriate for Children, PG-13
