Senior Girl Scouts First Aid Day
During this four hour workshop, a former Girl Scout and EMT will guide Senior Girl Scouts through a training on first aid basics, helping head and neck injuries, making splints out of everyday objects, recognizing signs of drug overdose and alcohol poisoning, and performing triage. Following the training, Scouts will be sent into the museums natural area to encounter scenarios where they will need to put their new first aid skills into action. Before the program ends, participants will be given time to share their knowledge on the topics covered. At the end of the day, each Senior Scout will know how to give first aid for injuries and illnesses, thereby earning the Senior First Aid badge.
*This event will be limited to 10 registrations per troop. If you have 11 or more Senior Scouts, please contact our office directly to book the First Aid program for your troop at (714) 540-0404 x233.
THIS EVENT WAS CANCELED ON 10/12/2018.
