Vancouver Rainbow Concert Band Annual Retreat 2018
When: October 12- 14th 2018
Where: Camp Alexandra, Crescent Beach, White Rock, BC, Canada. It is just a few minutes from the Peace Arch border crossing.
How Much: The whole weekend - $150.00
This includes breakfast, lunch, and dinner on Saturday, and breakfast on Sunday plus Friday and Saturday night accommodations in the Longhouse or Cabin 6/7
Partners/friends whole weekend same $150.00
Children -whole weekend $80
Saturday only includes 3 meals - $75.00
This includes breakfast, lunch, and dinner on Saturday, but no overnight stay.
Children, Saturday only - $40.00
Scholarships available: Up to $150.00
If you are a regularly attending band member, the band would love to have you at the retreat even if money would ordinarily be a barrier for you.
Please pay what is manageable for you, whether thats $10 or $80 (or any other number) and well cover the rest. Unfortunately, we cannot offer scholarships for partners/friends at this time. Partial scholarships may be available for children of regularly attending band members, so please inquire.
Contribute to the scholarship fund: Any amount
If you would like to and are easily able to, please feel free (but not obligated) to contribute to the retreat scholarship fund.
We will not collect more scholarship contributions than we disburse (we will refund it to you if we dont use it for this purpose) and what difference exists between the two will come out of other budgeted band funds.
What:
Friday, Oct 12 - Evening check-in after 5pm on. Dinner will not be catered so we may order Pizza or some may go out to a local Restaurant (not included in cost), party.
Saturday, Oct 13 - Sectionals and Rehearsals during the day. Times TBA. After supper there is opportunities for socializing, games, long walks on the beach, evening movie, party, etc
Sunday, Oct 14 - Rehearsal after Breakfast and check-out and clean up by 2pm.
