Judy Garland Live in Concert: GET HAPPY! THE MUSICAL. In this brand new show Judy Garland herself takes you on a musical journey through her life from her days in Vaudeville , to her illustrious film career at MGM , her legendary concert comebacks in the 50's and 60's, her CBS television series and beyond! More than just a concert GET HAPPY! Is a theatrical experience! Featuring all of the Garland standards you love best, including The Trolley Song, The Man That Got Away and Over The Rainbow.
The show has been created and conceived and performed by Peter Mac, an LA Magazine Archetype and the 2012 Southern California Motion Picture Council Golden Halo Award Winner for his loving and accurate portrayal of Judy Garland. The award was presented to Peter in a gala reception in person by Mickey Rooney!
This is a special event on Friday April 19, 2013 at 8pm for the Judy In Hollywood Convention. It is also open to the public. This price includes 2 drinks of your choice for $60.00. This is the pre-purchase price only. The at the door cash price is $75.00. It also includes a meet and greet reception after the show with a champagne toast to the memory of Garland Historian Steve Sanders.
Peter Mac as Judy also plays every Saturday at 8pm and Sunday at 6pm at Peter Mac's at Oil Can Harry's in Studio City.

Peter Mac is excited to see his dream become a reality to be debuting "GET HAPPY! The Musical" in this new venue built especially for him. So welcome to "Peter Mac's at Oil Can Harry's," a new showroom dedicated to the preservation of loving tributes to a bygone era.
Mac made his debut as Ms. Garland in 2002 in his autobiographical play, "Judy and Me," which ran for nearly two years at Rose's Turn in New York. It made its Off-Broadway debut in 2008 at St. Luke's Theater, also in New York, where it enjoyed a successful limited run. It toured throughout the East Coast and spawned his cabaret show, "Judy Garland: Live in Concert."
