The DIY Media Workshop Series
Join Globalist Youth for an action-packed DIY Media Workshop Series exploring photography, blogging, podcasting and vlogging!
Each Saturday in April, we'll spend an entire day diving into each type of media. You'll not only get hands-on experience with professional gear and technology on the University of Washington campus, but professional journalists and media makers will also work with you one-on-one to guide you along the way.
Cost: $5 per workshop or $15 for all four = MEGA SAVINGS! (For scholarship information, please contact Program Coordinator Sara Stogner)
When: Workshops are held from 10am-4pm each Saturday in April (April 6, April 13, April 20, April 27). Don't worry about missing a sunny Saturday afternoon, you'll only be in a dim editing room for half the day.
Where: Communications Building, on the awesome University of Washington campus!
Ages: Workshops are open to rad youth ages 16-20.
