The beach party, the cars, the sun, surfin, the endless summer The Beach Boys have been the California ambassadors everywhere on the planet for the last five decades. During the summer of 1998, six artists grabbed their instruments and talent and put together The Ultimate Tribute to The Beach Boys by The Beach Bums. The goal of their show is to recreate the magic and the essence of the 60s on the California beaches. The magic starts when The Beach Bums hit the stage looking and acting like The Beach Boys in their 60s show and sing over 30 of The Beach Boys original hits with all live music! The Beach Bums perform the very best surfin music of the 50s and 60s!
The Return of Buddy Holly Saturday, September 7, 2019 at 7:30 pm - Floor, $25; Balcony, $20
Gavan Rousseau performs the hits of Buddy Holly in, The Return of Buddy Holly. Holly was a pioneer in the Rock-n-Roll sound of the 1950s, and had hits including: Peggy Sue; Oh, Boy; Rave On; Maybe Baby; Thatll Be the Day; True Love Ways; Everyday; Not Fade Away; and It Doesnt Matter Any More. The show also features songs by Dion, The Big Bopper and Ritchie Valens. Buddy Holly songs were among the first songs Gavan Rousseau ever learned as a toddler. It is all a product of Gavans natural old soul and upon discovering Buddys music his desire to know more lead him to The Return of Buddy Holly. His guitar playing, his voice and Texan accent are all there even when speaking to the audience. And those who never got to see the real deal may be in for an overwhelming shock! Buddy Holly Lives in The Return of Buddy Holly.

In 1957 THE DIAMONDS released an instant million selling hit called Little Darlin. The song continues to sell worldwide and has been dubbed the National Anthem of Rock and Roll. To date it has sold approximately 20 million copies. The Diamonds continue to expand their audience to this day, performing in a variety of venues and settings worldwide. They have found a growing audience among all age groups who love songs they can understand, remember and actually sing the words to. Their many honors and accolades include: 3 Gold Records (Silhouettes; The Stroll; and Little Darlin) 33 Appearances on American Bandstand Soundtrack American Graffiti Soundtrack Happy Days Vocal Group Hall of Fame Doo-wop Hall of Fame They perform their hits including: Little Darlin; Why Do Fools Fall in Love; Church Bells May Ring; Silhouettes; and hits of other artists such as: Unchained Melody; Youve Lost That Lovin Feeling; and Whats Your Name. One Night in Memphis, created and directed by John Mueller, is the number one booked tribute to legendary Sun Records recording artists Carl Perkins, Johnny Cash, Jerry Lee Lewis and Elvis Presley, performed live and starring former cast members of the Broadway smash, Million Dollar Quartet. Over 90 minutes of authentic Rockabilly, Country, Gospel and 1950s Rock and Roll. The San Francisco Examiner raves, An Amazing Show! The show has an ever growing list of sold out performances, outstanding reviews and a great social media presence and fan base. This show depicts these artists (Carl Perkins, Elvis Presley, Jerry Lee Lewis, and Johnny Cash) when they were at the absolute peak of their performing abilities. The musicianship in the show is first rate. It has energy and drive. Sometimes characterizations of iconic characters can be stale, but these were spot on.
