Raison dEtre: An Evening of Pirandello
Raison dEtre is an all new take on Pirandellos classics Chee-Chee, Man With The Flower in His Mouth and his masterpiece, Six Characters in Search of an Author. The production is a new adaptation of all three works crafted together by Patrick Mulryan, freshly translated by Roberto Di Donato and Giovanni Villari.
Plot summary:
As a theatre company rehearses an evening of one acts (Chee-Chee and The Man With The Flower in His Mouth) they are interrupted by six entities claiming to be Characters from an unfinished drama by Luigi Pirandello.
The play is produced by Jennifer Jewell, on behalf of J. Jewell Productions, is directed by Patrick Mulryan, and Choreographed by Allison Plamondon. The play also features costume design by Maureen Freedman, lighting design by Giovanni Villari, with an original score by Chris Tench and Brett Stewart.
