Introduction to Improvisation: the Heartcore course

The Heartcore course is the introduction to the Open Heart Theatres style of improvisation. Its appropriate for beginners but open to improvisers of experience interested in our approach to the artform. The course lasts eight weeks, each class lasting two hours.
During the course we will play with improvisation fundamentals like agreement, focus, patterns and association. Classes will involve exercises, games and guided scenes. Together well explore, make mistakes, and laugh a lot.
At the core is our whole-hearted approach: committing to our choices, fuelling our scenes with emotion, and putting more of ourselves into the work.
Every Friday for eight weeks from Friday 19th October. Last week 7th December.
Time: 7pm to 9pm.
