JOHN FISHER - A HISTORY OF WORLD WAR II: THE D-DAY INVASION TO THE FALL OF BERLIN
World War II from the Allied invasion of Normandy to the fall of Berlin. Live! Onstage!
The play tells the story of a boys obsession with World War II. In the course of the story he learns about the joys of playing war and the dangers of such a violent obsession.

John Fisher brings you World War II from the Allied invasion of Normandy to the Fall of Berlin. Live! Onstage! He also provides useful information about the best books on the subject, the cutest generals who fought the battles, and the hottest actors who played them in the movies. The show demonstrates how WW II can bring you out of yourself and your own anxieties.

John Fisher (Author/Performer) is the recipient of six Bay Area Theatre Critics Circle Awards and is the only two-time winner of Will Glickman Award for playwriting ("Medea, the Musical" and "Combat!"), given by the Bay Areas major critics. He recently appeared in New York City at the United Solo Festival in his one-man show "A History of World War II," for which he won the Best Actor Award in 2017 and made an encore appearance in the 2018 Festival. Other awards include two Cable Car Awards for Best Theatre, the GLAAD Media Award, the LA Weekly Award for Best Production, and the BackStage Garland Award. www.JohnFisher.biz
