Homebrewing for Beginners
The class is on a Saturday, beginning at 4 PM. Attendees will learn the critical part of boiling, adding hops, chilling, sanitizing, and pitching yeast. The class is hands-on!
We'll also explain about bottling and bottle-conditioning.
Students take home a detailed 2-page outline, and will be confident to begin brewing at home.
The $30 cost of the 3-Hour class entitles students to a $10 discount on equipment purchase at the end of the class (normally $80). If you plan to purchase equipment, and want to take the class brew home for fermenting, let us know in advance!
The instructor has experience in a commercial brewery as well as homebrewing, is a beer judge, and owner/manager of a homebrew supply shop. She has taught this class over forty times, in the past four years--and you will learn some pro-tips!
