The 8th Annual Salute! NC Wine Celebration presented by BB&T
This is a rain or shine event. No refunds will be provided. Valid ID Required. Ticket sales on the day of the event are subject to Sell Out. The purchase of a ticket provides each individual with a wristband and a commemorative wine glass. To comply with North Carolina Alcohol Law Enforcement regulations, ALL ATTENDEES who will be tasting, drinking, or purchasing alcohol at this event MUST be 21 years of age and MUST have a wristband. Positive photographic identification MUST be shown at the Ticket Booth to obtain your individual tasting wristband and commemorative wine glass. No outside alcohol is permitted. Law enforcement agents are present to enforce those provisions. Sample wine tastings from individual wineries are subject to availability as some may run out of wine the day of the festival.
One of the premier celebrations of wine in North Carolina, Salute! uncorks in the streets of Downtown Winston-Salem, with North Carolina wineries offering tastings and purchase of their harvest. Voted a "Top 20 Event in the Southeast" by the Southeast Tourism Society, this event offers a total experience that highlights the fast-growing North Carolina wine industry in a fun and festive setting. Delicious food selections, musical entertainment, and the "North Carolina Food & Wine University," an interactive and fun educational area will be definite crowd-pleasers.
Salute! takes place along Fourth Street between Marshall and Spring Streets in downtown Winston-Salem. The festival is set up in the street, with beautiful outdoor dining areas of great restaurants and historic architectural buildings surrounding patrons in a lovely setting.
