Rise for Climate, Jobs & Justice - Chautauqua - Snohomish County Administration Bldg (downtown Everett)
Rise for Climate Jobs & Justice (Co-sponsored by 350-Everett, League of Women Voters of Snohomish County, Everett Reusable Bag Campaign, Yes on I-1631, SnoCo Indivisible, North Sound Progressive Community People's Summit, ForEverett, and others...)

Join with the Peoples Climate Movement on September 8, thousands of actions will be held in cities and towns around the world to demand our local leaders commit to building a fossil free world that works for all of us. Join us as we hold our local leaders to account and demand that they walk the talk on climate action.

LOCAL ACTION:  Our first action - to learn!

This Snohomish County event will be a Teach-In. Attendees are invited to learn how each of us can make a difference!

Are you interested in attending? We're excited to have you register now, which will aid in our planning the best event possible!  We have selected the morning time to set the stage as we Rise Together - and engage with our community to learn what we can do and why it matters!

Opens at 8:30 a.m.  Sign-In with Coffee provided!*
9-11 a.m. Presentations/Break-out Sessions*
11-Noon is the Tabling/Networking Session (Open to Public, too)

*Reservations Required for the Teach-In Morning Session 8:30-11 a.m.; followed by Networking/Tabling 11-Noon

Presentations on Creating a Zero Waste Household; Everett's Reusable Bag Campaign; Yes on 1631 (Building a Cleaner Future); a screening of the movie Bag-It; How to Take Climate Action; Panel of Local Organizations, and More!!!  

OPEN TO ALL Community Event/Tabling from 11 a.m. to Noon.

This event will be FREE**; however, seating is limited for the Teach-In and RESERVATIONS ARE REQUIRED!  Get your Admission/Registration Ticket at www.BrownPaperTickets.com for the Free Admission to the Teach-In Event; or just come and enjoy the Tabling/Networking time from 11 a.m. to noon!
