Family Evening: Astronomy Adventure Night
Join us for an evening of stargazing and enjoy a close-up encounter with the planets and stars through a variety of telescopes provided by the Old Town Sidewalk Astronomers. Start the evening with a reading of Hey-Ho, To Mars We Go by author Susan Lendroth; learn about the Orbit Pavilion exhibition and the satellites it tracks; and view rare astronomy works in the Library. The stargazing begins after sunset at 8 p.m. Suitable for all ages. Children under the age of 5 are free.
The event takes place throughout the grounds. Check-in begins at 6:30 p.m. at the front entrance.
Registration is not available day of the event. To be added to a wait list, call 626-405-3457. Refunds require 5-day cancellation notification.
