Children's Workshop: The Secret Life of Blue
Discover the history of the color blue, from the indigo plant used to create blue pigment to the great works of art made famous by this dazzling hue-including The Huntington's own Blue Boy, which is about to undergo conservation treatment. Create your own blue masterpieces while exploring the art and science of one of our favorite colors. Ages 7 and up. Fee includes one accompanying adult-child must be accompanied by an adult.
Class is held in Melanie's Classroom of the Banta Education and Visitor Center. Visit any admission window for directions to the Banta Education and Visitor Center for check-in at 9:45 a.m.
