Intro to Ancestral Healing

Join us this October for a class on Ancestral connection and healing with Saskia Ison. We will talk about the ways we can approach connecting with our wise and loving (blood and cultural) ancestors to heal our ancestral lineages. In a time when we feel so disconnected from our environments and each other, a connection to the land, people, and histories of our ancestors seems crucial to our individual and collective well being. We will discuss why its important to be in relationship with your ancestors and the benefits that can come from healing your lineages, then move into a ritual and guided meditation to connect with an ancestor.

Come with your questions and curiosities. Depending on the class interest we will also discuss topics like ancestral altars, protection, the transmission of intergenerational patterns, making prayers and offerings, funerals, and so forth.

Saskia Ison is an earth honoring animist who strives to bring equity, beauty and healing into this world through stained glass, ancestral healing and reverence, community rituals and depth psychotherapy. She has worked with ancestral healing since 2015, and is currently a practitioner in training for certification under the guidance of Dr. Daniel Foor.
