The Diary of Anne Frank - Opera
The story of Anne Frank, one of Time Magazine's 100 Most Important People of the 20th century, will be brought to the stage in a visually ground-breaking performance fusing Opera and Animation, opening this week. In the role of Anne Frank, Kate Fruchterman brings to life the optimistic, heartening, and timeless words excerpted from Anne's diary in English translation. Animation designer and Vermont Studio Center fellowship winner Yuriko Katoris 2000 animations illustrate the history of WWII, Annes life, hiding place, family and friends. Internationally experienced director Anna Etsuko Tsuri has united the contemporary music of Russian composer, Grigory Frid, with visual art into a vivid theatrical experience. This is more than opera, it is a unique composite performance piece of animation, music and literature. Everyone including children over the age of 8 will enjoy this unforgettable performance!   
Seating is limited. Get your ticket now and dont miss this remarkable experience. 
The performance is November 1st and 2nd at 7PM,  3rd at 5pm and 4th at 3pm at the Producers Club Theater, just 2 minutes walk from Times Square. 
There will be no late seating at this performance. Please come 30 minutes in advance. There is a bar at the theater where all are welcome to sit and conversation with Opera Pomme Rouge members! 
Ticket at the Door is $40, online discount at $38.
