The Harvest Moonshine
With great pleasure we present THE HARVEST MOONSHINE at White Barn Farm! Join us for an extraordinary concert and community experience featuring Billy Wylder and The Ladles. The festivity will include great live sets, community art making, local food, farm tours, pumpkin picking, and a bountiful harvest farm stand! Instruments, friends, & lovers all welcome :) Leave pets at home, but bring your chairs and a picnic!

BILLY WYLDER
"A spiritual cousin to Paul Simons Graceland" -Seven Days
From the front-lines at Standing Rock to the archaic streets of Jerusalem, the Sahel Desert to Carnegie Hall, music has been the source of strength for Billy Wylder. The band features Avi Salloway (Bombino/Hey Mama/Avi & Celia) joined by an inspired cast of singular artists who have performed across five continents including concerts at the Coachella Music & Arts Festival, Newport Folk Festival, New Orleans Jazz & Heritage Festival, Montreal Jazz Fest, Carnegie Hall, and Lincoln Center. From 2013-16, Salloway toured the globe with Bombino, the Tuareg guitar hero from Niger, Africa. While on the journey and since returning, Salloway wrote a collection of new material that will be released on the bands forthcoming album, Strike the Match on September 7, 2018.
The music weaves together American folk and rock with sensibilities from the Sahara Desert: think Andrew Bird meets Ali Farka Toure, Pete Seeger and Talking Heads. Mother Earth is at its center, surrounded by stories of love, conflict, change and dreams.
The band has toured extensively, performing and collaborating with renowned artists including Jack Johnson, the Preservation Hall Jazz Band, Bombino, The Low Anthem, and Pete Seeger.

THE LADLES
Masters of three-part harmony, The Ladles comprising Katie Martucci, Caroline Kuhn and Lucia Pontoniere blend swing, old-time, folk and more to create a handcrafted, downhome sound that brings to mind nights spent making music on the back porch while fireflies flit about and good friends catch up. The sound is spacious and lovely. With instrumentation that impresses, harmonies that inspire and an ability to capture the richness of the folk tradition without getting stuck in the past, The Ladles is a quiet stand out of the roots genre.
