Romantasy Cabarets Darkly Decadent
Prepare for bewitching and haunting entertainment on Saturday, October 20, 2018, in Romantasy Cabarets annual and award-winning Darkly Decadent, produced by Studio VaVaVoom. Delight in vaudeville, cirque, cabaret and burlesque entertainment at Club Red Theaters in Mesa, Arizona.
Romantasy Cabaret shows combine sensational dance ensembles, jaw dropping aerial displays, low brow comedy sketches, awe-inspiring fire performances and oldey-timey cabaret numbers that hearken back to eras gone by.
Every seat is a good seat at the movie theater-turned-music venue, Club Red Mesa. From the up close and personal VIP and Reserved seating sections to the seat-yourself General Admission seating, youll enjoy unobstructed views to soak in the starshine. Club Red has an excellent sound system, ample free parking, a full bar with drink specials throughout the night as well tasty eats sold by Red Owl food truck on the front patio. The menu includes some healthy, vegetarian and vegan options. Advance purchase of tickets for Romantasy Cabaret shows is recommended, as seats typically sell out for these productions. Guests are encouraged to arrive at 7:30 p.m. to be seated before the cabaret begins. Studio VaVaVoom and Romantasy Cabaret have earned numerous awards such as Phoenix New Times Best of Phoenix for Best Vaudeville Entertainment 2009, runner up for Best Local Performing Art Troupe by East Valley Tribune in 2011, and Best Performance Troupe by the City of Tempe for 2012 and 2014. VaVaVoom, the showgirls of Romantasy Cabaret, won 2nd place for Best Performance, Group/Duo Category at the Albuquerque Burlesque and Sideshow Spectacular in 2012 as well as Best Group at Arizona Burlesque Festival in 2015.Studio VaVaVoom, the learning hub for many of the cast members won Phoenix Magazines Best of the Valley 2016 for Best Place for Burlesque Classes and Best Dance Teachers 2017 and 2018 by Expertise and Mizz Lucy Morals was featured in Voyage Magazine.
