Lets needle felt another adorable critter in this second class that is focused on learning and practicing. New to felting students and those looking to practice their skills are welcome and encouraged. This project is easy with satisfying results.

Needle felting is a relatively new craft from the 80s, but has caught on because of its easy and satisfying way to create three-dimensional objects. Animals, plants, birds, fantasy figures are all popular subjects for needle felting.

In this class we will create sleepy mice. They are adorable and make great gifts if you can part with them. Its hard to stop at just one. All the wool material you need to make these charming critters is provided with extra to take home. Felting surface, needles, and shaping tools are provided on loan for those who dont have them and available for a $10 purchase after the class if you choose to keep them.

This class will cover a brief history, safety, using tools, different wools for different effects, demonstration of techniques, instructional resources and more.

Our workshops are appropriate for ages 12+
