Rising Stars: Lady Grown, Lady Made
Walter Clore Wine and Culinary Center and the World Trade Center Seattle are proud to present Rising Stars: Lady Grown, Lady Made. Did you know that only 7% of winemakers in Washington state are female? Join us to celebrate these hardworking female winemakers, owners and viticulturists. Featuring wineries that are owned by women, wine thats made by women, and/or grapes grown by women, this event is a great way to highlight and support this smaller segment of the Washington state wine industry. Winemakers will include Kay Simon of Chinook Wines, Mari Womack of Damsel Cellars, Lisa Warr-King Packer of Warr-King Wines, Wines of Sagemoor featuring both female winemakers and their outstanding Vineyard Manager, Lacey Lybeck and many more!
This event is presented by the Walter Clore Wine and Culinary Center. Located in Prosser, the mission of the Clore Center is to serve as a central gathering place for industry and consumers to discover Washington wine and agriculture through engaging events and innovative programs. This event is also supported by Washington State Wine and Berntson Porter.
