George Thompson and Paul Chasman

For the past 50 years George Thompson has developed an extensive and diverse collection of songs, including American standards, folk tunes and ballads. He has written original songs and performed in folk-groups since the mid-1960s. Throughout his life, George has been a beloved teacher, counselor and, along with his wife Margot, co-founder of the Neskowin Valley School. Throughout his teaching career, George has been dedicated to bringing people together through making music.

Paul Chasmans musical career has spanned nearly 50 years. During that time he has been a guitarist, composer, recording artist featured on more than 20 albums, guitar harmonics innovator, and one of the founding members of the Acoustic Guitar Summit. Guitar Player Magazine described his music as: A fine example of a guitarists devotion to the full exploration of his instruments capabilities.

On Our Own is the third musical collaboration between George Thompson and Paul Chasman and includes a collection of love songs dedicated to Georges wife, Margot. This album features solo guitar by Paul Chasman and vocals by George. George and Paul's second CD , Nightsky , was also produced by Paul. Their performance at Café Artichoke will feature songs from both albums.
