Join Missy Rohs of the Arctos School for a fantastic foraging adventure! We'll start the day by demystifying mushrooms -- covering what they are, the roles they play in the forest ecosystem, and what to look for to identify them. Then we'll roam the forest in search of edible fungi, and, if we're in luck, we'll harvest tasty mushrooms to take home! Along the way, we'll check out the amazing medicinal plants that inhabit the forest alongside our fungal friends.
Mushroom novices are welcome, as are folks who have foraged before! This class will happen rain or shine. Carpool will meet in SE Portland.
