Your Vibrant Heart: Recognizing & Preventing Heart Disease in Women
As part of the Los Angeles Women's International Film Festival Symposium Cynthia Thaik M.D. will speak on heart health, cardiac risk factor and prevention of heart disease, especially in women. She will discuss the obesity epidemic of our society and its current impact on health. She will touch on the topics of nutrition and fitness. Dr. Thaik will also be introducing a brilliant new way of thinking to clear your thoughts and maintain a positive healthy mind. This new way of thinking directs vibrational energy that will help you reach the overall health and wellness you desire.
Dr. Cynthia Thaik is a Harvard-trained, board-certified cardiologist, specializing in women's health, cardiovascular health and congestive heart failure.
Each year the LAWIFF helps to generate awareness and raise money for women causes. The festival's 2013 partner is American Heart Association. Ticket sales from this lecture as well as $1 of each film festival ticket sold will be donated to the American Heart Association's Go Red for Women Campaign.
