SLO Little Theatre Adventure: a play, a talk, a nosh Elaine Fornier and cast & crew of Enchanted April
We'll enjoy a matinee performance of SLO Little Theatre's production of 'Enchanted April', followed by a talkback - led by longtime SLO Little Theatre actor and volunteer, Elaine Fournier, followed then by an opportunity to share a bite to eat and more conversation with members of the cast and crew. The play: Enchanted April . Two frustrated London housewives impulsively rent an Italian villa for a holiday away from their bleak marriages. They recruit two very different English women, whom they've never met, to share the cost and the experience. Under the spell of wisteria blossoms and Mediterranean sunshine, all four bloom againrediscovering themselves in ways that theyand wecould never have expected. The talkback: A talkback is a post-show informal conversation with members of Enchanted April's artistic staff and cast. Led by long-time SLO Little Theatre contributor Elaine Fournier, this is a chance to learn about character development from the actor's point of view, and the rehearsal process. You may ask any questions about the show or artistic process and gain more of an insight into the theater works. All this and food: After the talkback, we'll remain at the theatre for an opportunity to share a bite with cast and crew - to continue our conversations on a more personal basis.
Elaine Fornier has a Master's in English with a dramatic literature emphasis. Currently she serves on the Board's Artistic Advisory Committee that chooses the plays for the season. She is also a Lifetime Member, an honorific for years of service.
