A Taste of Revolution at The Green-Wood Cemetery
Raise a glass to freedom! Mark the 242nd anniversary of the Battle of Brooklyn exploring the tastes of Revolutionary-era America. Food and drinks historian and raconteur Tonya Hopkins will lead a rum talk and tasting, along with Brooklyn based cider makers Joy Doumis and Jeremy Hammond, who will discuss how this popular beverage was made and how they make their own brew in the same spirit of the 18th century using apples gathered from Green-Wood. Music by Charming Disaster.
This program is for those 21 years of age and older.
Tickets: $25 for supporters of the Old Stone House & Washington Park, Green-Wood Cemetery and BHS / $30 for nonmembers.
