Lux Aeterna
In this grand finale of our 51st concert season, NWCC sings Morten Lauridsens Lux Aeterna for choir and orchestra. "Rest eternal grant to them, O Lord, and let perpetual light shine on them" is heard at the beginning, and again at the end of this incredible masterwork by one of the great American choral composers of our time. The opportunities to perform a major work with a 24-piece professional orchestra of strings, woodwinds and brass are special moments in the NWCC's long history and one you won't want to miss. Adding to this program that takes us to the stars is Northern Lights by Ola Gjeilo, Light Everlasting by Olaf Christiansen and Underneath the Stars by Jim Clements
