The Odyssey

The Odyssey, directed by Miquela A. Cruz, will feature huge cardboard puppets and an even huge-er (is that a word?) journey for Odysseus and his crew as they battle their way home. If the 300 and the video Geronimo had a playdate, this would be it! Local playwright and beloved EDGE favorite Leah Lopez is back with her most challenging script yet!

Instructors: Miquela Cruz, Rob Southgate, Kevin Johnson and Rick Olson
Days: Mondays and select scenes on Wednesdays
Blocks: 1 and 2
Time: 10:00 am - 12:00 noon
Weeks: 8
Start and end date: Regular 10a-12p rehearsal August 27 - Oct 8 (no class on Labor Day 9/3)
BONUS Run-thru and work rehearsal OCT 15th 10a-1p
Primary Location: Pendulum Space in North Center (1803 W. Byron St. #216, Chicago, IL 60613)
Min/max: 10/40pm
Notes: Full production, costumes, lights, sets and props (Think: The Craft).
Some Wednesday rehearsals for Leads and small scenes
Actors will be required to provide their own base clothes including black or brown boots.
