Bay Area Opera Collaborative Fundraiser Night at the Tabard Theatre

A get-together! A recital! A singalong! a playalong?! Why not all these things??

Come support BayOp at an evening with talented voice performances from Gregory Spear and Jennifer Rose, and a singalong/playalong instrumental event featuring numbers from our upcoming production of Pirates of Penzance, plus some other Gilbert and Sullivan favourites! (yes, if you play an instrument, you can tell us and we'll provide music for you!)
Then, hold up your paddle to pledge as we try to reach our goal for our fund-a-need, MC'd by Jonathan Tilley!

Our goal is to raise $10,000 to help pay for Pirates of Penzance! If we reach or surpass our goal, not only will we be halfway funded for Pirates, but BayOp will be in a position to consider producing yearly regular shows, and will start to hear proposals for our NEXT big adventure in opera. These options are, but are not limited to...
-More relatively unknown chamber operas
-Bigger operas, like Faust or Magic Flute
-Light Operas such as Offenbach works
-Modern works

If you CAN make it...
-Please remember that your ticket price will help cover the cost of the venue, but it will not go towards our fundraising goal.
-Dress is "pirate" black-tie!
-Drinks from the Tabard Theater bar do not go towards BayOp (but they do go towards Tabard, and we love them!)
-Come ready to sing your heart out....OR NOT, that's okay too!
-If you want to bring your flute (or other), please fill out the form on Brown Paper Tickets or email us to let us know
-There is no food at the event
