Dvoraks momentous Piano Quartet provides a thrilling launch for our Chamber Music Series and were delighted to present this with two hidden gems. Diane Jones, based in Syracuse, is another wonderful example of the diverse talents to be found in our own backyard.
Chamber music is often described as bringing together the best of both worlds. It allows each individual player to have an artistic voice while also having the joy of collaborative music-making. This intimate setting creates a musical experience far greater than the simple sum of the parts. Since 1987, the CCO has proudly presented a concert series devoted entirely to chamber music.
