2001: A SPACE ODYSSEY - The IMAX 70MM Experience
FILM PRESENTATION: Exclusively in IMAX, in celebration of the 2001: A Space Odyssey's 50th Anniversary, moviegoers will get to view this groundbreaking film for the first time ever in its unrestored original 70mm format. The IMAX 50th Anniversary presentation of 2001: A Space Odyssey will replicate its original 1968 theatrical presentation including the overture introduction and 15-minute intermission.
2001: A Space Odyssey - The IMAX 70MM Experience will be presented in 2D on our 4K IMAX with Laser projection system featuring IMAX's next-generation, enhanced 12-channel sound system with 114 speakers capable of 52,000 watts of digital sound and a six-story-high screen offering a truly immersive experience.

RUNNING TIME: 2 hours 45 minutes. There are no trailers on this film and the feature will start at the published show time.
SYNOPSIS: 50 years ago, director Stanly Kubrick released his groundbreaking science fiction epic, 2001: A Space Odyssey, widely considered among the greatest films of the 20th century. 2001: A Space Odyssey follows Keir Dullea and Gary Lockwood as astronauts on a journey to Jupiter with the computer HAL 9000 after the discovery of a mysterious black monolith with a profound effect on human evolution.

TICKET LIMITS: The number of tickets you can purchase per price category is 12 maximum.
REFUND POLICY: All Sales Are Final. No refunds, no exchanges and no replacements for any reason including lost tickets, stolen tickets, illness, late arrival or seat location.
ONLINE TICKETS: Online ticket sales for each show end two hours before show time. After online tickets sales close, tickets may still available for sale at the box office or by phone at 954-713-0930.
TICKET DELIVERY: Will Call tickets are to be picked up by the purchaser at Box Office Will Call. Valid photo I.D. required.
SCAN TICKETS: All mobile and print-at-home tickets must be scanned by the usher at the Scan kiosk located in the IMAX lobby.
ADMISSION: General admission seating is provided on a first-come, first-seated basis. A valid ticket is required for admission. Sales receipts or confirmation letters will not be accepted.
HOLLYWOOD FILM TICKET PRICES: Adult/Senior $15; Child (Ages 2 - 12) $12. Matinee show tickets include Museum exhibits admission.
MILITARY PRICES: We offer military prices for active or retired military personnel. Maximum four tickets per I.D. Pease be prepared to show a valid Military I.D. upon request.
MEMBERS TICKETS: Member ticket prices are not offered online. Member tickets can always be purchased at the box office or by phone at 954-713-0930.
ADVANCE TICKETS RECOMMENDED: Please be advised that shows may sell out and admission cannot be guaranteed unless you purchase advance tickets.
ARRIVAL TIME: Doors open 20 minutes prior to show time. Priority access ticket holders should arrive 30 minutes prior to show time.
BACKPACKS AND LARGE BAGS: Backpacks, oversized handbags and large bags are not permitted in the IMAX theater. Management reserves the right to inspect all bags. We strongly recommend you leave your items in your car before you head to the theater.
FOOD AND BEVERAGES: Popcorn, snacks and beverages are available at the IMAX Concessions Stand. Subway, Auntie Anne's and outside food are not permitted in the IMAX Theater.
