Union Square Walking Tour
Walking Tour with Annie Polland (Executive Director, AJHS) and Andrew Dolkart (Columbia University). Presented by Center for Jewish History, American Jewish Historical Society & Leo Baeck Institute. Ticket includes admission to Celebrating 20 Years of the Straus Historical Society at 15 W. 16th Street at 1:30 pm.

Come analyze the buildingsMacys, Tammany Hall, Margaret Sangers Planned Parenthood townhouseand come hear what Emma Goldman, Emma Lazarus and others had to say about immigration, suffrage and free love. This special walking tour ends with a behind-the-scenes look at the objects and primary sourcesincluding Emma Lazaruss handwritten manuscript of the New Colossusthat inspired the tour.
