Roya & The High Timers are back for just a short time and you dont want to miss it! Roya & The High Timers is a 1920s and 1930s-style jazz band started by singer Roya Naldi in St. Louis in 2017. She recently moved to Chicago but is back to play a with the High Timers again! Roya & The High Timers plays many classic jazz and dance band tunes led by Royas crooning and period-authentic vocal. Because the band focuses on interpreting obscure tunes of the jazz age, youll always hear something unique when they play. Itll be both energetic and sophisticated! Andy Schumm, bandleader of The Chicago Cellar Boys and member of The Fat Babies, will also be coming down from Chicago with Roya Naldi to play saxophone and clarinet. Andy Schumm is one of the top players of traditional jazz in the country and will add an extra layer of authenticity and passion with his playing.
