Martha's Vineyard Author Series: President Bill Clinton
Please join President Bill Clinton as he discusses his first novel, The President is Missing. Co-authored with acclaimed novelist James Patterson, President Clinton will offer insight into this unique collaboration. He will also focus on the timely issues that the novel raises about our world today. The book is a powerful, one-of-a-kind thriller filled with details only a President could know, and the kind of suspense only James Patterson can deliver. It has been on the New York Times bestseller list since its release in June. President Clinton will be in conversation with Bob Barnett.
President Bill Clinton was elected President of the United States in 1992, and he served until 2001. After leaving the White House, he established the Clinton Foundation, which focuses on global health, economic opportunity and growth, and address the effects of climate change. He is the author of a number of nonfiction works, including My Life, which was a #1 international bestseller.
Bob Barnett is one of the premier authors' representatives in the world. In addition to President Clinton, his clients have included other former US Presidents and First Ladies, senior government officials, and leading literary, political, media, and entertainment figures across the globe. Barnett has been Washington's go-to publishing deal-maker for four decades.
This evening promises to provide a unique insider's experience and a highlight of the island summer.
