Watching Night Falling
Come see your city in a whole new way, in an ode to the simple beauty and sublime mystery of sunset.
On this one-mile walk through the streets and greenways, audiences join the performers in unfolding the hidden contents of mundane environments. Together well part the veil of our daily grinds familiar façade, to witness the strange, gritty, gorgeous world just out of view.
Combining movement, music, spoken word, and delicate visual design, Watching Night Falling promises a rich, intimate experience of the everyday world.
Performances begin Thursday, September 20, and continue Fridays/Saturdays/Sundays through October 7.
Check-in and preshow begin at 6:20pm; the event begins promptly at 6:45pm.
This event is family-friendly. It involves a one-mile walk along paved paths and dirt trails. It contains audience-interactive elements, limited visibility situations, loud noises, and moments of profound quiet.
Please dress for the occasion! We strongly recommend closed-toed shoes, a rain jacket, and attire appropriate for a light hike. Remember that temperatures can drop 20 or more from later afternoon to early evening!
Arrive early and enjoy a drink special for ticket-holders!
