The Legacy is proud to present the regional premiere of the new Broadway musical, "Violet".
In 1964, with a suitcase and a hopeful heart, a young woman boards a Greyhound bus for a journey through the south, to a preacher she believes can heal a childhood wound. With music ranging from bluegrass to gospel to rockabilly, you'll fall in love with "Violet."
"Violet" is an award-winning musical featuring music by Jeanine Tesori (Thoroughly Modern Millie, Shrek the Musical) and lyrics by Brian Crawley, based on a short story by Doris Betts.
