SPIRIT FAMILY REUNION, SAM DOORES & THE HORSE EYED MEN
Come enjoy the latest installment of our summer music series with the sounds of Spirit Family Reunion, wood-fired pizza from the bread bus, and local beer and Ginger Libation on tap.
Spirit Family Reunion began singing together on the street corners of New York City in 2009. Since that time they have traveled the highways of America delivering raw, high energy, honest music. They have shared the stage with musical heroes such as Pete Seeger and Levon Helm, and have given notable performances at festivals including Stage Coach, Austin City Limits, Hardly Strictly Bluegrass, and the legendary Newport Folk Festival three times. Their shows always transcend into unforgettable foot-stomping, open door gospel hoe-downs.
The Horse-Eyed Men are Noah and Dylan Harley, two brothers who play original disgruntled Americana and country. Raised by musical humans in a former candy store outside of Providence R.I., their music mixes spaghetti-western themes with cabaret, ragtime, and post-partum punk.
Sam Doores (of the Deslondes and Hurray for the Riff Raff) is a New Orleans based musician and friend of both Spirit Family Reunion and The Horse Eyed Men. We are thrilled to welcome this heroic trifecta of American Music to Earth Sky Time!
