Mission Bowling Club Community Benefit
Mission Bowling Club is proud to be hosting its first ever Community Benefit fundraiser to raise money for LYRIC Center for LGBTQQ Youth. It will be a fun night for for the LGBTQQ community to come together, eat, drink, and bowl all while raising money for a worthwhile cause. There will be music, bowling, a silent auction, raffle prizes, a photobooth & more! None of this would be possible without the amazing sponsorship from Tito's Vodka, Anchor Brewing, and TreeCraft Distillery!
Founded in 1988, LYRIC is an anchor institution where vulnerable, predominantly low-income LGBTQQ youth of color collaborate with peers and adult allies to promote social justice in their communities. Combining advocacy efforts with a holistic set of services, LYRIC strives to transform the systems that marginalize LGBTQQ youth and provide them the supports they need to thrive. LYRICs mission is to build community and inspire positive social change through education enhancement, career training, health promotion, and leadership development with lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, queer, and questioning (LGBTQQ) youth, their families, and allies of all races, classes, genders, and abilities.
Mission Bowling Club is a boutique bowling alley that departs from tradition by serving award-winning food and extraordinary specialty cocktails, along with a rotating craft beer and wine list. Our six regulation bowling lanes offer automatic scoring and leather sofas for you to relax in between rolls. MBC is a destination for celebrations of all types, including birthdays, corporate outings, holiday parties, and weddings. Owners Molly Bradshaw and Sommer Peterson are proud to bring their eclectic style and experience to add the many other flourishing small businesses in the Mission.
$25 ticket includes 1 raffle ticket, access to free bowling (limited on a first come, first served basis), free photobooth, and the joy of supporting a local LGBTQQ nonprofit!
**Ticket does not include food and drink, but money raised from food & drink sales will be donated as well!
