SHANE HARVEY LIVE AT THE FLYING BEAVER PUBARET!
FRIDAY, MARCH 29th - 7pm
SHANE HARVEY

Shane Harvey knew music was going to be his life from the first moment he held an Elvis Presley postcard at the tender age of 5. The card was sent to his father, accomplished country singer Larry Harvey who was a friend of Elvis and The Colonel.

Born in Toronto, Canada Shane is today a multiinstrumentalist/vocalist who plays trumpet and piano. Vocally, accolades have streamed in from the likes of heavyweight rapper Snoop Dogg. He's "the best mother ****** white singer I ever heard...he's like Chocolate..".

Late legendary R&B singer/musician Isaac Hayes concurred, "Does Shane sing it straight up? You're DAMN RIGHT". From iconic stadium rocker Bon Jovi "I was blown away by Shane's strong vocals!" Shane Harvey's vocals and trumpet are what we call a "double threat" says Patience Higgins (member of New York's famous Duke Ellington Orchestra) Shane has performed, sang and recorded with many including Alanis Morisette, Anne Murray and David Clayton Thomas of "Blood Sweat and Tears". As an award winning film and television composer Shane has worked with the late great jazz legend Moe Koffman, as well as The Toronto Symphony Orchestra and The Warsaw National Orchestra on numerous film projects including the cult film classic CLEARCUT.

As a singer/songwriter Shane Harvey penned the infectious "Got A Hold On Me", a song featured in the wildly successful New Line Cinema feature film Final Destination 3. He is the winner of the MUCHMUSIC songwriting contest. As a jazz performer Shane has dazzled audiences with a Chet Baker tribute show.

Toronto Star Entertainment reporter Rob Salem stated "The influence of Chet Baker is unmistakable, yet the voice (and melodious trumpet riffs) clearly belong to Shane Harvey."
