We will then hit the trail looking for scat that other animals and surveying plants to study the favorite food sources of the animals of Seahurst. Along the hike, we will play decomposition to find out what happens to dead plants in the forest. Upon returning to the center, we will learn about digestion in birds of prey by dissecting a real owl pellet! Each participant will take home their own bag of bones from the owl pellet dissection.
