Tom Curren - 3 time world surfing champion will perform a concert with the Tom Curren Band at the La Paloma Theater. The Tom Curren Band blends folk, blues and rock and mixes in world music influences such as Reggae, Calypso, Latin America and West Africa. His original compositions are sometimes pure and simple and other times complex with driving rhythms and soaring melodies that mimic his surfing. Currens music goes beyond the immediate surf market. He explores musical styles and combinations of sounds that reflect his unique perspective. Curren sings and plays various guitars and keyboards and is accompanied by Marco Wood - Drums, Chris Swann - Bass, Rand Anderson - Guitar.
