Westland Distillery Single-Cask Preview / Tasting Event
Seattle's Westland Distillery is offering a free preview tasting / purchase opportunity for their final Summer 2018 Single Cask Whiskey release on Thursday, August 9th from 6:00 to 8:00pm.
This single-malt whiskey was aged in a Kulshun Brewing Imperial Russian Stout cask, and bottled at natural cask strength. The whiskey is being released for sale to the public on Saturday, August 11th, but Seattle Whiskey Collective and Barrel Thief mailing list members are invited to this event, free of charge...all you have to do is sign up in advance, here. You may sign up for two tickets, if you'd like to bring a guest.
The event is drop-in, 6:00 to 8:00pm, and there will be a brief presentation during that time by Westland's Master Distiller & Co-Founder, Matt Hofmann.
We've always loved Westland's single cask releases, and this is a great opportunity to taste the new bottling as well as other Westland single malts, and get first crack at purchasing a bottle!
