Orlando Pimentel, clarinet; Elena Abend, piano
Husband and wife duo Orlando Pimentel and Elena Abend are both from Caracas, Venezuela and are well-known chamber musicians in Venezuela and the United States. She performs with the Fine Arts Quartet, the Ravinia and Marlboro Music Festivals, among others. He began his music in Venezuela's music program "El Sistema" and performed regularly with the Simon Bolivar Symphony Orchestra before moving to the U.S. and performing with orchestras around the county.
