G.F. Handel: Esther
King's Chapel Choir, Soloists, and Orchestra, conducted by Heinrich Christensen, present Handel's oratorio Esther. Generally considered to be the first English oratorio, Esther tells the dramatic story of a Jewish orphan who single-handedly saves her people.
This concert is presented in memory of Jay R. Schochet.
Doors open at 4:30pm, open seating. Event will run approximately two hours, including intermission. Validated discount parking is available at One Beacon Garage, across the street from the chapel.
