Alice is an ambulatory, multi-disciplinary theatrical experience. The audience, traveling in groups of 15, follows a white rabbit to various locations throughout the Main-Dempster Mile in Evanston. Ducking into storerooms and back patios, through stores and taverns and galleries, the audience IS Alice and the Main-Dempster Mile shopping district becomes a wonderland. Chapters of the book are divided amongst Evanston and Chicago theater companies, visual and film artists and performed in the various locations throughout the neighborhood.
With original work by The Factory Theater, Mudlark Theater Company, The Fleetwood-Jourdain Theater, ShowParty, Quinn of SADHAUS, Naomi Ashley, Laura McKenzie, David Kodeski, Corrbette Pasko, Josh Zagoren, Dina Walters, Logan Kibens, John Randle and many more.
Run time is approximately 80 minutes.
This show takes place both indoors and out and will commence rain or shine. There are no refunds unless the show is officially cancelled. Please read all information below prior to purchase.
*Although there is nothing too inappropriate in the show, we want you to be aware it is not designed to be children's entertainment and is probably best for kids 10 and up (though we have had younger children in the past couple weeks and they had lots of fun. If you do bring children, we just ask that you please keep them within arm's reach due to traffic and stairs and whatnot.
