3rd Annual Haoleween Costume Surf Contest
We are holding our 3rd Annual Libertine Brewing Company Haoleween Surf contest in Morro Bay, Ca Sunday Oct. 28th. The contest will be held at Morro Rock. Registration starts at 8:30am and the first heat starts at 9:30am.
Rules-
You must wear a costume while surfing your heat/s.
You must ride a surfboard 8ft or longer with a single fin. (other fin combos are aloud but discouraged).
You must have fun. This is a contest that is judged on the spirit of traditional longboarding and having fun.
There will be prizes for best performance, best costume, best party wave, best burn (two years ago the person won for dropping in on a boogie boarder), depending on entries we have had best grom (kids) prizes as well.
This is a super fun contest to watch. Make sure to bring the whole family down and spend the day watching amazing surfing all done in costumes!
Entry fee includes lunch after the contest at Libertine Pub in Morro Bay during the trophy ceremony, and a Tshirt. Limited spaces so enter now
