The Glove Thief: a new play about Mary Queen Of Scots at CTE/TAM Drama
During the Elizabethan era, the greatest rival Elizabeth I faced was the threat from her cousin, Mary Queen of Scots. A new play by Beth Flintoff explores the complexity of their rivalry and the nuances of political intrigue in "The Glove Thief". Under the direction of Julianna Rees (Henry IV, Measure For Measure, As You Like It) will assemble a cast of advanced drama students from Tamalpais High School's award winning drama program, Conservatory Theatre Ensemble. Other advanced students provide the design work and production staff, creating the world of the play.
Performances are at the Daniel Caldwell Theatre located at the back of TAM High's campus (near Almonte) where plenty of parking is available. Curtain time is at 7:00 PM so get there early to get your reserved tickets at "Will Call" and claim your seats when the house opens at 6:30 PM. Latecomers may be seated at the CTE staff's discretion when it won't disrupt the performance.
"The Gove Thief" is suitable for audiences 11 years old and up.
