CIF Presents Mendoza & Horses

The Chicago IMprov Festival Presents:

Mendoza-New York City-with Dan Carroll, Shira Selkovits, Julianne Cross, Josh Kline, Alex Harris. Named after the famed baseball player Mario Mendoza who is known for setting the line for "above average" in the major league, Mendoza is a long-form improv group of two men and women that does a Spokane. Our brand of comedy tends to take an otherwise dark topic and making light out of it with outlandish characters and tons of fun onstage. Recently we completed an undefeated run in the "UCB Indie Cage Match" at the Upright Citizen's Brigade Theater granting us a headlining spot on the theater's main stage! We host 3 shows a month and love playing together.

Horses- Magnet Theater, New York, NY-with Federico Garduno, Michael Lutton, Kelly Buttermore, Kim Ferguson, George Fernandez, David Etkin. Horses is proud to be one of the Magnet Theater's resident ensembles, performing weekly at the theater since 2011. Watch as seven veteran improvisers expertly spin an improvised newscast into a world of smart, silly and sometimes inexplicably bizarre characters and situations before your very eyes!
