CIF Presents Portion Control, The Tokens and DAANG Judi Dench
Portion Control is a four person, all female improv group formed by Second City House Team members, Second City Conservatory graduates, and Second City Ship alumni. We concentrate on a form named "The Michelle" inspired from the form WEIRDASS. Our team features: Lisa Barber, Kathleen Gibson, Tiffani Swalley and Ann Marie Trepowski. We are coached by John Hildreth.
The Tokens (from Chicago) are a 3 Female multicutural improvisation group featuring: Natasha Bhamla, Amy Haeussler, and Ronke Soyode. They are coached by Katie Thomas of IO's The Katydids. Who put the curry in the cookie jar, you ask? These girls did. Unapologetic is their game. The focus of these girls improvisation is honesty through the eyes of different cultural upbringings. As well as girl power, duh. They use the Armando style of improvisation. They aren't afraid to get dirty and dig into the truth! Come join in the fun, won't you?

We are a team that is all ladies but we don't want our improv to be about being ladies. We like to dress up as boys. We like to dress up as girls. We wave our hair around like ponies. We think the theatre and all its antics is one of the silliest things in the worldwhich is why we love it and make fun of it. So we monologue, we sing our hearts out, we cold read, we audition, we lie on our resumes, we lie on each other, and we pretend to be deaf way too often. We try to have as much fun as possible doing this ridiculous thing called theatre. And it's all for the Dame.
