PopUp For Good #4 Benefits Interfaith Action, Homelessness Support Services
There will be 2 seatings on August 12: 5:00pm / 6:30pm
This time we'll support Interfaith Action, which serves 365,000 meals every year. In addition to meals for those living in homelessness, Interfaith Action operates a hospitality center on weekdays, winter warming centers and an emergency overnight shelter. All of this is provided by volunteers from more than 40 faith communities from across Evanston.
Our menu will include the following:
PIZZA
We'll offer four, including at least two that folks have loved, and at least two for vegetarians. All will be available gluten-free.
GREENS
Our August 12 salad will be created from seasonal garden-fresh ingredients.
SWEETS
Barbara's Best Brownies, Mr. Lincoln Shortbread and Homer's Iced Cream will be back on August 12.
OLD-TIME SODA FOUNTAIN
Our Soda Jerks will serve the popular Red Dog Soda, Wildkit Phosphate and the Evanston Egg Cream. We'll also unveil a new old-time soda!
