How far would you go to be loved, popular, or rich? How far would you go to have the life of your fantasies, your dreams? OperaWorks' The Golden Lasso examines these questions and more in this funny but moving performance that combines traditional opera arias and art songs into a brand new story with improvised dialogue.  In The Golden Lasso, dating competitors from small towns across America test the limits of their resolve to find love and fame.  This new three act performance piece features direction by Eli Villanueva.
